Intereted in Becoming a Vendor at The Cottonwood Creek Certified Farmers' Market & Artisans' Fair?
Dear Vendor:Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Cottonwood Creek Certified Farmers’ Market & Artisans’ Fair. The opening day for the 2010 market season will be May 7th and it will run through the end of October. We will conclude the market season with the 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Celebration on October 29th. The hours of operation will again be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. Live entertainment will be brought in on various occasions, and it all blends in with the ambiance of the Market to make each Friday a great event. The Market has also moved to a more visible location and will now be located at 3645 Main Street.
The Cottonwood Creek Certified Farmers’ Market & Artisans’ Fair only allows the sale of certifiable agricultural products – fruits, nuts, vegetables, eggs, herbs, nursery stock and honey – and these items may only be sold by the producers themselves. Buying and reselling is not allowed. The market applies this principal to other items sold at the market such as hot food, pastries, breads and sauces. We encourage participation by producers of these products but typically do not allow access to the market by distributors.
We also welcome Artisans’ and crafters’ to our Market. Allproducts must be handcrafted by the vendor and approved by the Market Manager and the Market Supervisor. Products featured at artists and crafters booths must be 70% homemade by the vendor.
To sell at one or more markets during 2010 you must complete the Application to Sell and return it to our office. Spaces are limited, so if you haven’t already, contact our office at your earliest convenience to reserve your spot. To guarantee your space at the market you must submit the registration and market fees, Market Agreement and any required permit copies two days prior to the Market day.
This year we have added a registration fee of $25 for each vendor. This fee will be a onetime annual fee, of which, 100% will be used to advertise and promote the Market. Weekly booth fees will remain just $10.00 per Market day. These prices are competitive with other local markets. You may also choose to take advantage of the discounts we offer for purchasing multiple weeks in advance. We encourage our vendors to take advantage of the discounts we offer by purchasing multiple weeks in advance. This will ensure your place during the market days you select in advance. Weekly fees are required prior to market day. No shows are not subject to refunds; please see the Market Rules and Regulations for more information.
