This is the native species list occurring or potentially occurring within the Cottonwood Creek Watershed. Lists of animal species were acquired from lists and species information located within the draft version of the Cottonwood Creek Watershed Assessment.
Included are special-status species identified by the California Natural Diversity Database (CNDDB) and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) database. Special status species are plant and animal species that are considered to be rare, threatened or endangered. There are approximately 40 special status species occurring or potentially occurring within the vicinity of the Cottonwood Creek Watershed.
